Our customer, part of a future-focused group of companies, is hiring a Senior Cloud Architect to be based in Tbilisi, Georgia.
This leadership role centers on building and maintaining robust, secure, multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud) for high-scale global systems. Ideal for an expert with hands-on cloud architecture experience looking to drive modernization and resilience in production infrastructure.
**Key Duties:**
* Design and document cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and Alibaba Cloud.
* Build multi-region, secure, and resilient environments with disaster recovery protocols.
* Define and enforce cloud governance and cost optimization practices.
* Maintain and improve CI/CD infrastructure (blue/green, canary, IaC).
* Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, Application, and Security teams.
* Set observability standards for production environments.
* Evaluate and adopt cloud-native tools and practices.
* Act as the escalation point for production cloud infrastructure issues.
**Essential Skills:**
* 8+ years of cloud architecture experience across AWS, Azure, and Alibaba Cloud.
* Expertise in HA, scalability, and secure cloud-native designs.
* Proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
* CI/CD tooling: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI.
* Experience in disaster recovery, multi-region failover.
* Networking, IAM, Kubernetes, and service mesh familiarity.
* Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
* Cloud certifications: AWS, Azure, or Alibaba preferred.
