Our customer is looking for a **Senior DevOps Engineer** to design and run secure, automated Azure-based infrastructure. Core emphasis on resilient CI/CD pipelines, AKS/Kubernetes operations, and full-stack observability across global B2B workloads.
**Ideal Candidate**
A cloud-first DevOps professional with 6-10 years in production Azure environments, fluent in Terraform and GitOps. Comfortable owning AKS clusters end-to-end, loves automating everything, and can dive deep into performance tuning and incident response. Thrives in cross-functional settings with SRE, Security, and App teams, balancing reliability, speed, and cost.
**Primary Duties**
* Architect & maintain CI/CD infrastructure (canary, blue/green, IaC best practices)
* Automate AKS workloads with Helm/Kustomize via GitOps (ArgoCD)
* Implement secure, cost-optimised container deployments
* Build central logging/monitoring with Graylog/ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, App Insights
* Manage config, secrets, backups (Velero) and cloud-native stores (RabbitMQ, Redis, MinIO)
* Run performance testing (JMeter, Taurus) for high-volume B2B traffic
* Provide L3 escalation for complex pipeline or infra incidents
* Contribute to internal DevOps standards & documentation
**Essential Skills & Tools**
* 5 – 8 yrs DevOps/infra in cloud-native settings
* Azure DevOps, GitHub/GitLab CI, Bitrise
* AKS, Helm, container lifecycle management
* Terraform &/or Bicep, GitOps pipelines
* Observability stack: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Graylog, App Insights
* Azure security fundamentals (VNETs, WAFs, private endpoints, SSL, secrets)
* High-availability & autoscaling design
**Preferred / Nice-to-Have**
* Deep ArgoCD GitOps workflows
* Advanced CI/CD templates, multienvironment gating
* Artifact management & secure image delivery
* Release strategies: blue/green, canary, feature flags
* Cost-optimised infrastructure planning
