**Company Description:**

**Role Description:**
This is a full-time, on-site role in Tbilisi for a Head of Information Technology. The Head of IT will oversee the management, strategy, and implementation of IT systems to align with the hospital’s objectives. Key responsibilities include managing IT operations, developing IT infrastructure, formulating IT strategies, and ensuring optimal system functionality and cybersecurity. The role requires close collaboration with different departments to deliver technology-enabled solutions that foster clinical, operational, and customer-care excellence.
**Qualifications:**
* Extensive experience in **Information Technology**, **IT Management**, and **IT Operations**.
* **Proven ability to develop and implement IT Strategy** aligned with organizational goals.
* Strong knowledge of **IT infrastructure**, **system administration**, **networking**, and **enterprise IT services**.
* **Demonstrated leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills; ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams effectively**.
* **Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills**.
* **Experience working in an international organization**.
* **Familiarity with international healthcare IT standards**, medical data handling, and regulatory best practices.
* Understanding of **medical equipment**, **clinical systems**, and **device integrity** requirements.
* Experience in **IT procurement**, vendor management, budgeting, and lifecycle management of IT assets.
* Knowledge of **Agile/Scrum** practices and ability to collaborate with technical roles such as Developers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, DBA, UI/UX designers, and Product Owners.
* Awareness of **cybersecurity principles**, data protection, access control, and compliance (HIPAA/GDPR principles at a high level).
* Experience with **cloud services** (Microsoft 365 / Azure) and IT service management processes (ITIL is a plus).
* Ability to coordinate with **Customer & Domain Experts**, understand user requirements, and translate them into technical solutions.
* Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degrees or IT management certifications (ITIL, PMP, COBIT, Scrum Master, etc.) are advantageous.
