Asterbit is an international software development company and a subsidiary of JSC “Oppa”. The company focuses on delivering cutting-edge software solutions for the financial technology and energy sectors.
We are looking for a **Middle Business Analyst** for a new project of an existing financial systems who can independently analyze an existing system, work closely with stakeholders, and drive structured documentation within an Agile development team.
**What You’ll Do**
* Independently explore and analyze an existing financial system to understand current processes, data flows, and business logic
* Collaborate with business stakeholders and clients to gather, clarify, and validate requirements
* Translate business needs into clear, structured, and actionable documentation (BRD, user stories, acceptance criteria, process diagrams, etc.)
* Own the analytical phase of features within the project and proactively identify gaps, risks, and dependencies
* Work closely with developers during grooming and refinement sessions to ensure clarity and feasibility
* Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Grooming, Daily Standups, Reviews, Retrospectives)
* Support QA during testing by clarifying requirements and validating delivered functionality
**What We’re Looking For**
* 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT projects
* Strong analytical thinking and ability to structure complex financial logic
* Experience working directly with clients and managing stakeholder communication
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Experience writing high-quality documentation (user stories, process flows, specifications)
* Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence
* Familiarity with BPMN or other process modeling techniques
* Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
* Good English communication skills (verbal and written)
