**Job Title:** IT Business Analyst

**Job Description:**

Asterbit is an international software development company seeking a Middle Business Analyst for a new project involving existing financial systems. The role requires an individual who can independently analyze existing systems, collaborate with stakeholders, and create structured documentation within an Agile development team.

**Responsibilities:**

* Independently explore and analyze existing financial systems to understand current processes, data flows, and business logic.
* Collaborate with business stakeholders and clients to gather, clarify, and validate requirements.
* Translate business needs into clear, structured, and actionable documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRD), user stories, acceptance criteria, and process diagrams.
* Take ownership of the analytical phase of project features, proactively identifying gaps, risks, and dependencies.
* Work closely with developers during grooming and refinement sessions to ensure clarity and feasibility.
* Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Grooming, Daily Standups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
* Support QA during testing by clarifying requirements and validating delivered functionality.

**Qualifications:**

* 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT projects.
* Strong analytical thinking and ability to structure complex financial logic.
* Experience working directly with clients and managing stakeholder communication.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Experience writing high-quality documentation (user stories, process flows, specifications).
* Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
* Familiarity with BPMN or other process modeling techniques.
* Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
* Good English communication skills (verbal and written).
