**General Responsibilities:**
* Develop and communicate a clear vision for software delivery and operational excellence, aligned with overall business objectives and stakeholder needs for efficient, high-quality product development.
* Map, analyze, and optimize end-to-end software delivery workflows, identifying inefficiencies, delays, and non-value-adding steps, and standardize best practices across development, testing, and release processes.
* Collaborate with DevOps and Engineering teams to assess CI/CD process maturity, recommend improvements in build, test, and release automation, and ensure seamless handoffs between development and operations functions.
* Define quality standards, metrics, and governance frameworks, and facilitate integration of quality checks and test automation into standard processes to monitor and reduce defect rates through root cause analysis.
* Evaluate and enhance Agile ways of working (Scrum, Kanban, etc.), facilitate retrospectives and continuous improvement loops, and standardize planning, estimation, and review practices to improve predictability and delivery cadence.
* Partner with Engineering to streamline developer onboarding, identify pain points in development environments, and promote scalable knowledge-sharing practices to reduce silos and enhance team enablement.
* Define and track KPIs that measure software delivery health (e.g., lead time, deployment frequency, incident rate), build dashboards to visualize team and process performance, and leverage data to drive fact-based decision making and prioritization of improvements.
* Ensure engineering and Agile processes are aligned with broader business goals and customer outcomes, translating strategic objectives into measurable process improvements and acting as a liaison between technical teams and business units.
* Lead change initiatives related to processes or ways of working, engage cross-functional stakeholders to co-create and adopt improved practices, and coach teams and leaders on Lean, Agile, and DevOps principles for lasting transformation.
**Requirements and Skills:**
* Experience in software delivery, operational excellence, or process improvement within technology-driven organizations.
* Strong knowledge and practical experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps practices.
* Proven ability to map, analyze, and optimize end-to-end software delivery workflows and implement process improvements.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing cross-functional teams.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable process improvements.
* Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and balance competing stakeholder needs.
