**React Native Developer (Junior)**
Borbalo is Georgia’s leading mobility and vehicle management app – helping over 400,000 drivers track fines, manage daily driving tasks, and simplify their on-the-road experience. We are expanding our engineering team and are looking for a motivated **React Native Developer (Junior level)** who is passionate about building seamless, high-performance mobile interfaces and delivering an exceptional user experience.
**Your Role**
As a React Native Developer, you will be a key member of our frontend team, responsible for developing and enhancing the mobile application that our users interact with every day. You will work on building intuitive UI components, integrating complex APIs, and ensuring the app runs smoothly across all platforms.
**Your key responsibilities will include:**
* Developing and maintaining cross-platform mobile features using **React Native**.
* Building clean, adaptive, and high-quality UI layouts with **HTML5/CSS3** (StyleSheet).
* Integrating **REST APIs** and collaborating with the backend team to ensure seamless data flow.
* Writing self-documenting, maintainable code using **TypeScript**.
* Decomposing complex product requirements into manageable tasks and providing realistic estimates.
* Ensuring code quality through **Git** version control, linting, and consistent code reviews.
**Who We’re Looking For**
* At least **1 year of professional experience** in developing client-side applications with **React Native**.
* Strong proficiency in **JavaScript**, **React**, and **TypeScript**.
* Deep understanding of web and mobile project architecture and client-server principles.
* Hands-on experience with build tools and environment configurations (**webpack, babel, npm/yarn, eslint**).
* A “clean code” mindset: ability to write structured, readable, and well-documented code.
* Strong organizational skills: ability to meet deadlines and manage tasks efficiently.
* English proficiency at **B1 level** or higher.
* Ability to work effectively in an **on-site** team environment in Tbilisi.
**Will be considered an advantage:**
* Experience with mobile-specific optimizations and performance tuning.
* Familiarity with native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) development.
* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile app deployment (App Store Connect / Google Play Console).
