**Job Title:** Technical Product Owner (Relocation to Spain, Valencia)

**Job Description:**
BrainRocket is seeking a Technical Product Owner to manage the BaaS regulatory framework and ensure operational integrity for their Compliance & Regulation Squad. This role involves managing the technical backlog for security and regulatory infrastructure, bridging the gap between their Core Banking engine and global compliance partners.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* **Backlog Management & Strategic Alignment:** Own and prioritize the Compliance backlog aligned with critical business objectives and Global OKRs. Translate company strategy into actionable technical milestones in partnership with the Product Manager.
* **Technical Integration Oversight:** Serve as the primary technical point of contact for integrations with Identity (KYC), Risk scoring, and AML tools. Manage technical dependencies with the platform and third-party providers.
* **Advanced Requirement Engineering:** Gather and verify functional/non-functional requirements, creating and maintaining Epics and Stories with a focus on financial edge cases (e.g., sanction hits, failed KYC loops, suspicious transaction patterns).
* **Regulatory & Security Compliance:** Ensure all features meet international standards like PSD2/3, DORA, and PCI-DSS. Act as a mediator to ensure the “User Golden Path” never bypasses mandatory security checks.
* **Stakeholder & Vendor Liaison:** Act as the central technical liaison between the Engineering team, the CISO, and external vendors. Obtain approvals for data privacy and security architecture decisions.
* **Sprint Execution & Quality Assurance:** Define sprint objectives and approve all product increments, ensuring each release (backend API to frontend UI) meets rigorous security and audit logging standards.
* **Incident & Change Management:** Proactively manage change requests for security patches and regulatory updates. Define “Acceptance Criteria” that mandate strict audit-trail documentation and security validation.
* **Operational Guidance:** Provide subject matter expertise to internal teams and oversee technical operational tasks, including whitelisting processes and system permission architecture.
**Requirements:**
* 3+ years of experience as a Technical PO, Business Analyst, or System Analyst in Fintech, BaaS, or RegTech.
* Deep understanding of the DORA framework, ISO 27001 principles, and the technical lifecycle of KYC/AML/CTF workflows.
* Proficiency in documenting and testing RESTful APIs and webhooks.
* Solid understanding of backend architecture and data flow.
* Ability to create and interpret UML and BPMN diagrams for complex money and data movements.
* Expert-level knowledge of the full requirements lifecycle in a high-stakes environment.
* Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information from third-party APIs for logical, rapid decision-making during technical conflicts or security incidents.
* Proven ability to lead a cross-functional squad (Node.js, QA, Data) through influence and technical authority.
* Deep experience in Scrum/Agile, particularly with high-velocity delivery and significant third-party dependencies.
* Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
* Ability to translate regulatory and technical language between different teams.
