**Immersive Software Developer for Experimental Tech Platform**

We’re supporting a fast-moving startup building an immersive, intelligent digital platform that brings together real-time interaction, spatial storytelling, and applied machine learning.

They’re hiring a Co-op AR/VR Software Developer for a 6-month engagement (Aug 2025 – Jan 2026) with preference for full-time availability (~30 hrs/week minimum). This is a hybrid Atlanta-based role with weekly in-person collaboration.

**You’ll work on:**
* Cutting-edge web and XR interfaces (React, WebXR, Unity)
* Interactive environments with real-time system feedback
* Custom ML model integration (NLP, LLMs, persona modeling)
* Backend orchestration and intelligent pipelines
* Experimental features focused on next-gen web and immersive interaction

**Tech stack includes:**
* Frontend: React (TypeScript), Tailwind, responsive PWA/XR
* Backend: Python (FastAPI/Django), REST/WebSockets, PostgreSQL
* ML/AI: PyTorch/TensorFlow, Transformers, LangChain, LLM finetuning
* Immersive: Unity3D or WebXR development experience with a focus on interactive characters, avatars, or narrative environments
* Infra: GitHub, Docker, Firebase/Vercel (nice to have)

**Ideal for someone who:**
* Thrives in experimental, early-stage environments
* Has an eye for interaction and product flow
* Is comfortable collaborating across disciplines (design, ML, storytelling)
* Understands the sensitivity and IP protection needed in pre-release work

**Bonus:**
* Experience bringing digital characters to life — including animation blending, gesture design, or expressive UX
* Technical artistry or visual storytelling sensibility (not just mechanics)
