**Key Responsibilities:**
* Create, execute, and maintain test cases based on functional and technical specifications
* Perform various types of testing including functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, and UAT
* Log, track, and verify bugs in issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality
* Work alongside automation engineers and contribute to automated test planning
* Occasionally write or maintain basic automated tests using tools like Playwright, Karate, or Cypress
* Write small scripts or automation utilities when needed
**Requirements:**
* 2+ years of experience in manual testing of web and/or mobile applications
* Strong understanding of QA processes, SDLC/STLC, and defect lifecycle
* Familiarity with at least one programming language: TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, or Python
* Basic experience with test automation tools/frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, Karate, or similar
* Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail)
* Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git)
* Excellent documentation and communication skills
**Nice to Have:**
* Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST-assured)
* Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration
* Knowledge of performance or load testing tools
* Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
