**Azure Data Engineer**
Combined Ratio Solutions is seeking an Azure Data Engineer with experience in Azure Data Factory and core Azure data services.
**Key Duties & Responsibilities:**
* Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (batch and near real-time).
* Build and support data integration solutions using core Azure data services.
* Work with structured and semi-structured data across Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure CosmosDB.
* Implement ETL/ELT patterns, data transformations, and orchestration logic.
* Collaborate directly with clients to gather requirements, clarify data flows, and explain technical solutions.
* Participate in data architecture discussions and propose scalable and cost-efficient approaches.
* Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance of data pipelines.
* Apply security best practices including access control, secrets management, and data protection.
* Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing data solutions.
* Contribute to documentation, best practices, and continuous improvement of data engineering standards.
* Collaborate closely with software engineers, DevOps, and analytics teams.
**Skills & Qualifications:**
* Proven hands-on experience as an Azure Data Engineer or similar role.
* Practical expertise with Azure Data Factory.
* Solid knowledge of general Azure Data Platform components and concepts.
* Experience working with Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure CosmosDB.
* Good understanding of data modeling and data integration patterns.
* Proficiency in SQL and basic-to-strong skills in Python.
* Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of data pipelines.
* Experience with Microsoft Fabric is a strong plus.
* Ability to communicate technical topics clearly to non-technical and technical stakeholders.
* Experience working directly with customers or business users.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Proficient English (B2+ level or higher).
