Website Administrator / Site Support Engineer

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Website Administrator / Site Support Engineer to manage and support our production infrastructure and web applications.
You will be working on a unique international project, collaborating with a global team and contributing to a product used across multiple markets. This role offers excellent exposure to modern technologies and international standards in system operations and infrastructure management.

Location: Tbilisi, Georgia
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain production Linux servers, ensuring high availability and performance
Manage and support Node.js applications (deployments, restarts, log analysis, troubleshooting)
Perform PostgreSQL database administration: backups, restores, performance tuning, and query optimization
Manage DigitalOcean infrastructure (Droplets, firewall configuration, backups, and snapshots)
Set up and maintain monitoring systems, alerting, and centralized log management
Respond to production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and document outcomes
Automate routine operational tasks using shell scripting or CI/CD pipelines
Configure and maintain Nginx as a reverse proxy, including SSL/TLS certificate management
Collaborate with development teams on deployments, environment setup, and release planning
Maintain internal documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures

Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2+ years of experience supporting production Linux environments
Strong knowledge of Linux systems (SSH, systemd, log management, diagnostics)
Hands-on experience with Node.js applications (process management, logging, troubleshooting)
Solid experience with PostgreSQL (backup/restore, indexing, query analysis using EXPLAIN)
Experience managing DigitalOcean infrastructure
Proven experience in monitoring, alerting, and log management setup
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with Docker and docker-compose
Knowledge of Nginx configuration and SSL/TLS (Let’s Encrypt)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or GitLab CI)
Familiarity with observability tools such as Sentry, Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog

Languages:
Professional working proficiency in English and Russian
Georgian is preferred
