**Role Description. CTO (Chief technology Officer):**
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Tbilisi, with flexibility for remote work.
The product is **already built, launched, and functional,** your primary responsibility as CTO will be to **oversee the technology**, manage and grow the engineering team, and continuously refine and enhance the product.
Although the foundation is complete, this is a **hands-on role**. The CTO will be expected to actively write code, review code, solve complex technical challenges, and guide the architecture as the product scales.
**Responsibilities include:**
* **Hands-on development** using our core tech stack: Node.js, React, Next.js, MongoDB, Vercel deployments, and AWS architecture
* **Oversee and optimize the existing technology**, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability
* **Lead, manage, and mentor the engineering team**, improving processes, productivity, and technical excellence
* **Enhance and expand the existing product**, identifying areas for improvement and implementing upgrades
* **Develop product and technology roadmaps** for new features, improvements, and long-term innovation
* **Collaborate cross-functionally** to ensure alignment between product development and business objectives
* **Drive architectural decisions** and ensure a solid, scalable foundation for future growth
**Qualifications:**
* Proven expertise in **Software Development** and **hands-on coding**
* Strong experience with **Node.js, React, Next.js, MongoDB**, and modern deployment practices (Vercel, AWS)
* Strong background in **Project Management**, **Technical Architecture**, and **Product Development**
* Ability to lead, mentor, and improve a growing tech team
* Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Ability to work in a hybrid environment (Tbilisi + remote)
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
* Prior experience in a **technology leadership** or CTO-level role is highly preferred
