WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join a high-performing team building an innovative, high-profile product in the entertainment and tourism sector. You will play a key role in developing intelligent, AI-driven conversational systems and scalable backend services in a fast-paced, ambitious environment
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Rewrite legacy Perl modules into modern, maintainable Java (Spring Boot) components.
Integrate newly developed services into the unified monolithic Java codebase.
Reverse-engineer legacy logic and workflows with minimal or outdated documentation.
Implement Angular components and connect them to backend APIs to deliver full end-to-end features.
Troubleshoot inconsistencies caused by mixed legacy business rules and fix complex behavioral issues.
Collaborate closely with PMs, BAs, and tech leads to clarify requirements and fill documentation gaps.
Participate in estimations, raise red flags early, and outline risks, assumptions, and hidden complexity.
Contribute to code quality through refactoring, reviews, and improving internal system consistency.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
Strong experience with Java (Spring Boot) and Angular in production environments.
Ability to analyze and migrate legacy systems, especially when documentation is missing or outdated.
Solid understanding of relational databases and comfort working with fixed, unchangeable DB schemas.
Excellent debugging skills and the ability to navigate inconsistent or unclear business logic.
Hands-on experience building REST APIs, UI components, and integrating front-end and back-end.
Strong communication skills for working with cross-functional teams (PM, BA, Tech Lead).
Ownership mindset — able to join quickly, adapt fast, and deliver under a critical project timeline.
Familiarity with Agile delivery processes and accurate effort estimation
