Who are we looking for:
We are looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer to help design, build, and operate scalable, high-quality services and applications. You will work across backend and frontend technologies, contribute to system reliability, and collaborate closely with a cross-functional team.
Your role and responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures (EDA) using Java, Spring, Kafka, and Node.js (NestJS)
Build and maintain scalable backend services with a strong focus on performance and reliability
Develop and maintain complex web applications and user interfaces using React
Define, implement, and monitor SLIs and SLOs to ensure service reliability and observability (Grafana)
Actively contribute to CI/CD pipelines and delivery strategies in collaboration with the wider engineering team
Participate in code reviews, providing constructive and high-quality feedback
Collaborate closely with teammates and stakeholders, acting as a strong team player
Continuously improve your skills and contribute to the growth of the team and engineering practices
What we expect from you:
5+ years of experience with Java and Spring Framework
Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven systems
Experience with Node.js, preferably NestJS
Familiarity with observability tools such as Grafana
Experience working in CI/CD-driven environments
Eagerness to learn and constantly improve yourself
Proactive attitude and great sense of responsibility
Good command of written/spoken English (B2 and above)
