**dxFeed is looking for an Application Support Engineer (Support Level 1) to join their Technical Support team.**
**Responsibilities:**
* Provide technical support to B2B clients using dxFeed market-data products.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues in high-load financial systems (market data delivery).
* Communicate with clients, providing technical guidance, recommendations, and integration support.
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, incidents, and resolutions.
* Identify root causes of technical problems and propose long-term solutions.
* Participate in system architecture discussions, documentation, procedures, and system-level test plans.
* Assist with the rollout of new products and services.
* Monitor system health, performance, and software behavior.
* Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, technical writers, sales, legal, and finance teams.
* Communicate with external market-data providers and exchanges, brokers, trading firms, etc.
* Provide training and knowledge sharing for users and teammates.
* Stay current with technologies and trends in FinTech and market data.
* Follow security, quality, and compliance standards.
**Qualifications:**
* General interest in finances (trading, investments, etc).
* Work experience with clients around the globe.
* High level of communication and soft skills.
* Diligence and quick response to incoming information (tickets, monitoring, calls, notifications, chats, etc.).
* Ability to identify problems and not tolerate them.
* Ability to work in an environment with frequently changing context (stress resistance).
* Console skills (ability to find/check configuration, knowledge of Linux/Unix basics, logs).
* Basic knowledge/understanding of Java, Python, and/or C/C++.
* Basic knowledge of networking and infrastructure (e.g., IP, TCP) and some basic knowledge of Computer Science.
* Familiarity with Clouds, SaaS, IaaS, and scalable solutions.
**Bonus Qualifications:**
* Good understanding of the development process from client request to production rollout, and the roles of various systems involved.
* Experience with production platforms and systems.
* Continuous working experience in large companies.
* Ability to stand one’s ground and propose ideas that improve the team’s and potentially the entire organization’s work.
