**The Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior React Native Developer to be a cornerstone of our engineering team. As a founding developer, you will be responsible for architecting and building our mobile application from the ground up. You will have a profound impact on our technology stack, our development culture, and the future of our product.

**What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)**
* **Architect & Build**: Lead the architecture, development, and maintenance of our React Native application for both iOS and Android from a blank canvas.
* **Write Exceptional Code**: Produce clean, scalable, well-documented, and high-quality code.
* **Collaborate**: Work closely with the co-founders, product leads, and designers to translate ideas and wireframes into a world-class user experience.
* **Own the Full Lifecycle**: Take full ownership of the mobile application’s development lifecycle, from initial design through to testing, deployment, and support on the App Store and Google Play Store.
* **Set the Standard**: Establish and champion best practices for mobile development, including code reviews, testing, CI/CD, and performance optimization.
* **Integrate & Innovate**: Integrate with backend services and third-party APIs, and stay on top of the latest trends in mobile technology to ensure our app is modern and competitive.
* **Problem Solve**: Tackle complex technical challenges and find elegant, performant solutions.
**What We’re Looking For (Required Qualifications)**
* 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience building, shipping, and maintaining React Native applications.
* Expert proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript, and a deep understanding of React and the React Native framework.
* Proven experience launching applications on both the App Store and Google Play Store.
* Strong experience with state management libraries such as Redux, MobX, or Zustand.
* Experience with native module integration (Java/Kotlin for Android, Swift/Objective-C for iOS) when required.
* Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and asynchronous request handling.
* Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Detox).
* A strong sense of ownership, an entrepreneurial spirit, and excellent problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a small, collaborative team.
**Nice to Have (Preferred Qualifications)**
* Experience working in an early-stage startup environment.
* Familiarity with CI/CD tools for mobile development (e.g., Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions).
* Experience with cloud services (Firebase, AWS, GCP).
* Contributions to open-source projects.
* A portfolio of published applications we can review.
