Ehvert Mission Critical, a business unit within Salas O’Brien, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team. The role involves supporting the design and coordination of data center projects across the U.S.
Key responsibilities include:
* Using BIM tools (Autodesk Revit) for electrical system modeling and coordination.
* Understanding and delivering project requirements for scope, cost, and schedule.
* Expediting engineering deliverables.
* Developing and maintaining project scope of work documentation.
* Designing electrical systems, including power distribution, UPS systems, standby generator systems, and security and life systems.
* Preparing engineering calculations, schematic designs, and detailed designs.
* Preparing technical documentation for project execution.
* Reviewing shop drawings.
* Producing models and drawings in various BIM and CAD software.
Qualifications and experience required:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering.
* Proven expertise as an electrical engineer.
* Written and spoken English B1 and higher.
* Experience in electrical design for industrial, residential, and commercial sectors, including medium and low voltage distribution, lighting, grounding, and lightning protection.
* Experience with various electrical modeling software.
* Hands-on experience with Revit Autodesk.
* Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment.
* Deep knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes.
* Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet project deadlines.
* Self-starters who are ambitious and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to communicate technical knowledge clearly.
* Excellent communication skills.
