We are seeking an AWS DevOps Engineer to support the migration of repositories from Atlassian Bamboo to GitHub Actions for an insurance client.
This role focuses on implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines while ensuring seamless integration and secure deployment workflows. You will work closely with development teams to maintain smooth operations throughout the migration process. **Responsibilities**
* Migrate repositories from Atlassian Bamboo to GitHub Actions ensuring reliable integration
* Verify and resolve issues with CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment connections dependent on git repositories
* Develop and maintain CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions to automate build and deployment processes
* Implement security best practices within CI/CD pipelines
* Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate services and manage deployments
* Communicate migration progress and technical details effectively with team members and stakeholders
* Troubleshoot and optimize pipeline performance and deployment processes
**Requirements**
* Proven experience in DevOps engineering with at least 2 years of relevant work
* Strong expertise in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
* Proficiency in infrastructure as code using AWS Cloud Development Kit
* Experience working with Atlassian Bamboo and understanding of migration processes
* Competency in containerization using Docker
* Background in programming with Java, Python, and JavaScript
* Good analytical and troubleshooting abilities
* Effective communication skills in English at an intermediate level or above
