We are seeking an experienced professional with a proven track record in designing and implementing scalable, greenfield cloud-native systems and successfully launching them to production on Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities
Design and build robust deployment pipelines supporting rollbacks and blue/green deployments
Organize and maintain application and infrastructure code, documentation, and runbooks for production readiness
Set up comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging to enable rapid incident response and operational transparency
Establish processes for capacity planning, scaling, backup, and disaster recovery
Ensure systems meet reliability, security, and compliance standards
Collaborate with Cloud DevOps Engineers to develop Terraform scripts for Azure resource configuration
Work with Solutions Architects to support required integrations and platform readiness
Coordinate with Delivery Managers on production readiness, go-live planning, and execution
Partner with Tech Leads to implement necessary changes for go-live
Requirements
Demonstrated experience designing and launching cloud-native systems on Microsoft Azure
Strong expertise in building deployment pipelines with advanced deployment strategies
Proficiency in monitoring, alerting, and logging for cloud environments
Solid understanding of capacity planning, scaling, backup, and disaster recovery in Azure
Knowledge of reliability, security, and compliance best practices for cloud solutions
Experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Nice to have
Experience with blue/green and canary deployment strategies
Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD tools
Exposure to large-scale production launches in enterprise environments
Knowledge of cloud cost optimization techniques
Background in supporting integrations with third-party systems on Azure
Experience in authoring runbooks and operational documentation
Understanding of incident management and rapid response processes
Certification in Azure or related cloud technologies
