We are seeking an experienced and committed Chief SAP CAP Developer (JS) to join our team.
In this role, you will play a vital part in developing a sophisticated application tailored to address complex business needs. This platform enables partners to sell products, offer services, and create solutions for unique scenarios. Its goal is to streamline workflows and provide customized support, enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness.
**Responsibilities**
* Develop and implement applications using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) with Node.js and TypeScript
* Create dynamic front-end solutions with frameworks such as SAPUI5, React.js, and Three.js, leveraging HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
* Work with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret business requirements into technical solutions
* Build and maintain software across all layers, including user interface, backend, and database systems
* Improve system performance and scalability by applying cloud-native architecture best practices
* Set up, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Git, TeamCity, and Jenkins
* Diagnose and resolve technical issues to maintain system stability and reliability
* Utilize distributed systems and data processing frameworks to handle complex workflows effectively
* Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from initial planning to final deployment
* Support process optimization efforts and ensure development aligns with agile methodologies like SAFe
**Requirements**
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
* At least 7 years of experience in SAP development or related roles
* A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience, with the ability to manage teams, set direction, and ensure high-quality results
* Involvement in at least two full-cycle SAP projects or experience across multiple development lifecycle phases
* Advanced skills in SAP CAP development using Node.js and TypeScript
* Expertise in front-end development with SAPUI5, React.js, and Three.js, along with HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
* Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle, including design, testing, and deployment
* Familiarity with agile methodologies, including frameworks like SAFe
* Hands-on experience with tools such as Git, TeamCity, and Jenkins, and exposure to Continuous Delivery practices
* Strong knowledge of distributed systems, cloud-native architecture, and data processing techniques
* Experience with containerization technologies and CI/CD pipeline configuration
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
* Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within global, multicultural teams
* Organized and goal-driven approach to managing projects and teams
* Proficient in English (written and spoken) at a B2+ level or higher
