Responsibilities
Lead the design of robust, scalable and reusable ETL/ELT solutions to support business and analytical needs
Direct the development and maintenance of data extraction, transformation and loading processes across various sources and destinations
Oversee the building of data pipelines for structured and unstructured data systems in modern cloud environments
Optimize data workflows to ensure efficiency and reliability across teams
Guide collaboration among engineers, analysts and stakeholders to support effective data integration and workflow processes
Set best practices to deliver reliable, high-quality engineering solutions for data ingestion, transformation and provisioning
Mentor and support team members to foster technical growth and ensure project success
Requirements
5+ years of experience in data integration and data warehousing
Proficiency in Python and PySpark for data engineering tasks
Skills in designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines
Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases for data processing and querying
Knowledge of orchestration tools like Apache Airflow
Expertise in Snowflake or similar cloud solutions such as Azure or AWS for data warehousing and storage
Understanding of modern data engineering tools and concepts including performance optimization, data architecture and pipeline scalability
Strong team collaboration and communication skills with a proactive mindset focused on efficient and timely delivery
B2 English proficiency level or higher
Nice to have
Skills in Databricks for unified data analytics and processing
Background in integrating diverse data sources across modern cloud platforms
Familiarity with other scripting languages to enhance automation and integration tasks
Understanding of advanced data management and modeling techniques
