Responsibilities
Own and enhance the ML pipeline’s design, development, and operational lifecycle, following best practices
Design, build, and implement intricate AI/ML solutions on cloud platforms that adapt to evolving business and technical needs
Develop infrastructure and architecture diagrams
Lead collaborations with data scientists and engineering teams to enhance ML pipeline efficiency
Distribute tasks among junior ML engineers and ensure completion
Refine coding practices, manage code reviews, and integrate best model management practices
Offer insights on new technologies and tools, propose enhancements
Assist in the recruitment process for junior and senior ML engineers
Requirements
Background in AI/ML engineering and leadership
Proficiency in machine learning model development
Understanding of software engineering best practices, data management, testing, and deployment
Expertise in creating scalable, reliable, and maintainable ML systems
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with senior business stakeholders, customers, and team members
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting, guide junior team members, and provide technical leadership
Strong knowledge and experience in Python development
Familiarity with cloud-native services including GCP, AWS, and Azure
Experience with various MLOps platforms/technologies such as AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, GCP Vertex AI / AI Platform, Databricks MLFlow, Kubeflow, Airflow, TensorFlow Extended
Nice to have
Practical knowledge of the Apache Spark Ecosystem
Expertise in LLM/GenAI
