We are seeking an experienced and visionary **Lead Platform Engineer** to design and maintain scalable, self-service platforms that empower development teams to deploy, monitor, and manage applications efficiently.
This role involves advancing platform capabilities, streamlining workflows, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

**Responsibilities**
* Design and develop internal platforms offering self-service capabilities for deployment, monitoring, and application management at scale
* Build and maintain standardized frameworks, tools, and libraries to promote best practices and optimize development workflows
* Integrate development tools and services into a unified ecosystem to support diverse development team requirements
* Provide robust documentation, training, and support to enhance the overall developer experience
* Ensure platform reliability, performance, and availability to meet the demands of multi-team usage
* Apply DORA metrics to analyze and improve software delivery processes across teams
* Utilize emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation in platform design and functionality
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security, operations, and development into seamless workflows
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues to maintain excellent system health and operational efficiency
* Act as a technical leader, mentoring team members and advocating for platform engineering best practices
**Requirements**
* At least 5 years of experience in platform engineering or related technical roles
* Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, CI/CD processes, and DevOps methodologies
* Proficiency in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
* Expertise with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep) and GitOps tools such as Flux and ArgoCD
* Familiarity with tools like Crossplane, Pulumi, or AWS Controllers for Kubernetes (ACK) for cloud resource management
* Strong knowledge of Internal Developer Platforms (Backstage, Humanitec, OpsLevel) to boost development team efficiency
* Expertise in high availability, high-performance systems across hybrid cloud environments
* Programming proficiency in Bash, Shell, or Python for automation and scripting
* Exceptional troubleshooting capabilities, from low-level system issues to application-specific debugging
* Solid English skills for effective communication, documentation, and collaboration
**Nice to have**
* Background in building and optimizing Google Cloud Platform (GCP)-based solutions with services such as GKE, Pub/Sub, and BigQuery
* Knowledge of observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Stackdriver for monitoring and diagnostics
* Familiarity with microservices architecture, distributed systems, and high-scale application environments
* Skills in designing APIs and working with messaging systems such as Kafka or Pub/Sub
* Experience with retail, financial, healthcare, or logistics industry solutions
