We are looking for a Lead React Native Engineer to support our client in migrating from a native mobile application to React Native Elements (brownfield migration). This role is ideal for an engineer with solid React Native experience who enjoys hands-on development and collaborating with a team to ensure a smooth transition.
**Responsibilities**
* Migrate BDUI components from mobile native and web rendering engines to React Native engine
* Add analytics to BDUI components
* Create cross-platform (iOS, Android, Web) components from Design System
* Write unit and integration tests
* Develop UI that meets accessibility requirements
**Requirements**
* 5+ years of experience in React Native development, ideally with exposure to migrating from native applications
* Willingness to learn and contribute to architectural decisions in collaboration with senior and principal engineers
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
* Good communication skills and a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies
**Nice to have**
* Good understanding of iOS and Android native development (Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, Java) and how React Native interacts with native code
* Proficiency in React Strict Dom
* Experience in Backend Driven UI (BDUI)
* Experience in Micro-Frontend Architecture
