Responsibilities
Develop and improve SAP ABAP programs within the MDG framework
Design and implement object-oriented and core ABAP programming solutions
Create and manage CDS views to support data modeling
Apply and oversee enhancements and user exits
Develop and maintain SAP MDG workflows and BRF+ rules
Extend MDG data and UI models based on client needs
Collaborate with functional teams to analyze and convert business requirements
Execute validations and derivations in MDG processes
Support SMT mapping and data transformation activities
Maintain code quality and comply with SAP development standards
Diagnose and solve technical issues related to SAP MDG
Document technical processes and development specifications
Work closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure effective solution delivery
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in ABAP development
Strong expertise in core ABAP and object-oriented programming
Proven knowledge of SAP MDG/MDM modules
Experience with enhancements and CDS views
Understanding of SAP MDG data and UI model extensions
Skillful in validations, derivations, and SMT mapping
Effective communication and teamwork skills
English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to have
Background in MDG Customer/Vendor domain
Familiarity with Floorplan Manager (FPM) and User Interface Building Block (UIBB)
Knowledge of SAP MDG APIs including Governance, Context, and External APIs
Experience in BRF+ and workflow development
