The Oracle DevOps/Automation Architect designs, implements, and governs the CI/CD and data migration pipeline for database and Oracle E-Business Suite configuration object migrations. This role develops standardized automation frameworks for capturing and importing configuration data, including scripts, adapters, manifests, logging, and rollback capabilities. The architect integrates solutions with source control systems and orchestrators, ensuring repeatable, idempotent, and verifiable migrations that align with enterprise security and compliance standards.
**Responsibilities:**
* Data migration and CI/CD Design & Implementation: Architect and deliver CI/CD pipelines for Oracle EBS database and configuration migrations across DEV, UAT, and PROD environments.
* Automation Framework Development: Build standardized capture and import scripts, adapters, manifest schemas, and structured logging utilities.
* Rollback & Recovery: Define and implement automated rollback features for safe migration reversals.
* Integration with Tooling: Integrate solutions with source control and pipeline and data orchestrators.
* Idempotency & Verification: Design patterns ensuring migrations can be safely re-run without side effects, including automated verification checks.
* DevSecOps Practices: Embed security, auditability, and compliance controls into the automation pipeline.
* Performance & Optimization: Ensure automation processes run efficiently with minimal performance impact in target environments.
* Documentation & Standards: Create and maintain technical documentation, migration guides, and coding standards for automation.
* Collaboration: Partner with DBAs, functional consultants, and application developers to align automation with functional and technical requirements.
* Leadership: Act as a chief technical authority for automation, mentoring junior engineers and guiding best practices.
**Requirements:**
* Strong experience in DevOps, System Architecture, Automation Architecture, and Oracle E-Business Suite environments.
* Hands-on expertise with big data migrations, CI/CD tools, and integration with version control.
* Solid scripting skills (Shell, Python, Groovy, PL/SQL).
* Deep knowledge of Oracle database migration utilities (Data Pump, SQLcl, FNDLOAD).
* Experience designing idempotent migration framework patterns and verification routines.
* Familiarity with AWS, OCI, or other cloud platforms hosting Oracle workloads.
* Proven security awareness in DevOps pipelines (DevSecOps).
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong collaboration, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
