We are looking for a skilled and collaborative **SAPUI5 Developer** to join a significant digital transformation program. In this role, you will contribute to developing frontend solutions that improve user experience and support the program’s business and technology objectives.
**Responsibilities**
* Assist in the development and maintenance of SAPUI5 applications using basic principles of the ABAP RESTful Programming Model (RAP) and SAP Business Technology Platform
* Work with backend developers to integrate SAP Fiori and SAP Fiori Elements with underlying business systems
* Contribute to the performance and responsiveness of web applications
* Translate user needs into technical specifications and functional web interfaces
* Participate in code reviews and provide input to resolve minor technical issues
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams during the development and deployment stages
* Stay informed about updates within the SAPUI5 and SAP Fiori technologies
* Document basic elements of technical designs to facilitate team understanding
**Requirements**
* 2+ years of experience with SAPUI5
* Exposure to SAP Fiori and SAP Fiori Elements
* Basic understanding of ABAP RESTful Programming Model (RAP) and SAP Business Technology Platform
* Some experience with customizing SAPUI5 controls and extending SAP Fiori elements
* Ability to work with both technical and business teams to deliver user-friendly solutions
* Familiarity with agile or traditional development workflows
* Understanding of S/4 HANA architectures and their relevance to frontend development
* Problem-solving mindset for addressing minor frontend challenges
* Good communication skills in English with a minimum level of B1+
**Nice to have**
* Familiarity with performance optimization techniques for SAPUI5 applications
* Basic understanding of reusable patterns and frameworks in SAP systems
* Experience in linking SAP solutions to basic reporting platforms
