We are seeking an experienced, hands-on **Senior CIAM Developer** to enhance and refine existing solutions for a global-scale platform. This role involves assessing challenges, advising on design improvements, and implementing end-to-end development to create robust, scalable, and secure CIAM systems for one of the world’s largest hotel operators.

**Responsibilities**
* Develop and deliver high-quality software solutions using scalable, secure coding practices, optimizing both performance and usability
* Collaborate cross-functionally with product owners, architects, UX designers, scrum masters, and engineers to align software development with business objectives
* Participate in code reviews, fostering a culture of secure coding practices, quality assurance, and collaborative development
* Adhere to secure coding practices, protect sensitive data, and implement solutions complying with security regulations
* Implement robust unit testing practices to ensure software reliability and maintainability
* Create and execute CIAM solutions focused on OpenID Connect, MFA, RBA, and other domain-specific capabilities
* Balance usability with robust security, ensuring solutions are scalable and user-friendly for a global customer base
* Stay updated on CIAM industry trends, best practices, relevant standards, and legal compliance frameworks like GDPR and CCPA
**Requirements**
* 3+ years of experience with Java
* Solid prior expertise in CIAM systems, with deep technical understanding of customer access management functionalities including SSO, MFA, OpenID Connect, FIDO, and token/session management
* Background in SAP Customer Data Cloud (Gigya) or similar systems such as Auth0, Okta, or ForgeRock
* Proficiency in using API Gateways like Apigee and REST-based APIs for integration and functionality scaling
* Experience with AWS or other major cloud service providers, demonstrating competency in cloud-based CIAM solutions
* Showcase of EngX practices such as unit testing, code reviews, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
* Familiarity with optionally integrated concepts such as passkeys, WebAuthN, and social login configurations
**Nice to have**
* Background with CI/CD processes and tools such as Git for streamlined development workflows
* Familiarity with authentication scenarios involving integration with APIs, and hybrid configurations (Auth0, Salesforce integrations)
* Understanding of social login implementation and extended protocols for seamless user experiences
