We are seeking a Senior Windows Core DevOps Engineer to lead the design, automation, and operation of core infrastructure services within the Microsoft ecosystem. You will focus on modernizing Windows-based systems, implementing infrastructure as code, and ensuring scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure for high-availability trading environments.

**Responsibilities:**
* Architect and automate core Windows infrastructure components, including AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, IIS, and Windows Clustering
* Lead projects to refactor and modernize legacy Windows systems into automated, testable, and observable components
* Drive adoption of Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD workflows using Microsoft-native and cross-platform tools
* Troubleshoot and optimize system performance at the OS, networking, and application levels across a large Windows server fleet
* Define and implement secure baselines, monitoring, patching, and compliance standards for Windows infrastructure
* Build PowerShell modules, DSC configurations, and use tools like Ansible, SaltStack, or Terraform to unify automation
* Act as the highest escalation point for Windows-related production issues and lead incident response
* Partner with Core DevOps, Security, SRE, and Cloud teams to standardize and scale Windows platforms
* Mentor engineers across teams, promoting best practices in observability, resilience, and automation-first thinking

**Requirements:**
* 8+ years of experience in enterprise-level Windows Server engineering and DevOps practices
* Deep expertise with DNS, DFS, IIS, and Windows Failover Clustering
* Strong experience in automation and configuration management with PowerShell scripting, Desired State Configuration (DSC), and/or Ansible or SaltStack for Windows
* Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts applied to Windows environments using GitLab, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
* Hands-on experience integrating Windows infrastructure with hybrid or cloud-native solutions, preferably AWS
* Experience with infrastructure provisioning tools such as Terraform, including Windows modules or CDK
* Strong skills in Windows performance tuning, debugging, event log analysis, and patching strategy at scale
* Background in regulated or high-uptime environments, such as banking, Forex, or fintech, preferred
* Experience leading incident response and system-level post-mortems for Windows-based production outages
* Fluent communication skills in English at a B2+ level

**Nice to have:**
* Familiarity with SQL Server automation
* Experience with .NET Core deployments
* Knowledge of Windows Containers
