We are seeking a Senior Environment Support Engineer to manage and optimize Atlassian Cloud and Jira Service Management environments. You will focus on setting up automation, developing ITSM workflows, and providing continuous support to improve operational efficiency. This role involves scripting and configuration tasks to enhance Jira processes using tools like Terraform and Python. You will be responsible for documenting processes and supporting users to ensure effective use of Atlassian Cloud features. Responsibilities
Manage and configure Jira Service Management Cloud to align with organizational ITSM needs
Develop and implement automation rules within Jira Service Management Cloud to streamline workflows
Design and maintain projects, schemes, workflows, permissions, and notifications within Atlassian Cloud
Monitor and resolve issues related to Atlassian Cloud services promptly
Document ITSM processes, configurations, workflows, and automation rules comprehensively
Prepare user guides and training materials to assist team members in using Atlassian Cloud features effectively
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to Atlassian Cloud users
Control and manage changes in permission schemes, screens, workflows using automation and scripting
Create automation for project and scheme modification tasks to enhance operational efficiency
Requirements
3+ years of experience as an Atlassian Administrator with a focus on Jira Service Management
Strong background in Atlassian Cloud administration, including configuration and automation
Expertise in creating and managing Jira Automation rules
Proficiency in scripting with Python and automation using Terraform
Knowledge of AWS CloudFormation, Atlassian Platform Administration, Azure DevOps, and IT Service Management frameworks
Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal English communication skills (B2+)
