**Responsibilities**
* Design, build, and maintain internal platforms enabling development teams to deploy, monitor, and manage applications effectively at scale
* Develop standardized tools, frameworks, and libraries to streamline development workflows and promote best practices across teams
* Ensure seamless integration of tools and services within the platform ecosystem to enable efficient collaboration for multiple teams
* Focus on improving developer experience by providing robust documentation, training, and support for platform tools and services
* Implement practices to ensure platforms achieve high availability, reliability, and performance to effectively support teams at scale
* Leverage DORA metrics (Deployment Frequency, Lead Time for Changes, Change Failure Rate, Mean Time to Recovery) to measure and improve platforms and workflows
* Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance platform functionality and developer workflows
* Collaborate across development, operations, and security teams to deliver holistic platform solutions and support applications in production
* Provide technical guidance to address platform-related challenges and ensure overall system health
* We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our team and help shape scalable, robust, and efficient internal platforms that empower our development teams. By employing cutting-edge tools and practices, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless development workflows and enhancing developer productivity across the organization.
**Requirements**
* At least 3 years of professional experience in platform engineering or related roles
* Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps principles
* Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
* Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep) and GitOps solutions (Flux, ArgoCD)
* Familiarity with tools including Crossplane, Pulumi, and AWS Controllers for Kubernetes (ACK) for managing cloud resources
* Background in working with Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) like Backstage, Humanitec, and OpsLevel for improving developer productivity
* Strong competency in designing and supporting high availability, multi-data center, and hybrid cloud systems
* Skills in scripting languages such as Bash, Shell, or Python
* Capability to diagnose and solve complex issues spanning system resources and application stacks
* Effective English communication skills in both written and verbal formats
