We are looking for a Senior SAPUI5/BTP Developer to join our team, focusing on the Global Adoption Experience Framework. This position involves close collaboration with client engineers to deliver high-quality solutions. You will work in a collaborative environment that applies the Scaled Agile Framework to support flexibility and continuous improvement. The role includes active participation in client workshops and regular teamwork sessions to align project objectives and improve communication. Responsibilities
Participate in frontend development with UI5 Freestyle or Fiori Elements
Develop new frontend components for real-time interaction with specific Cloud functionality
Integrate BTP applications with SAP and non-SAP systems using services such as OData, REST and SOAP
Assist in design and development of SAP Customer Portal applications
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and design scalable architecture
Optimize application performance, conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality, responsive and secure code
Provide technical expertise, lead development efforts and mentor junior developers
Participate in agile development processes, manage project activities and assist in resolving production incidents
Create and maintain technical documentation including system configurations, installation procedures and guidelines
Requirements
4+ years experience in SAPUI5 development
Proficiency in SAPUI5, Fiori, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS
Experience with SAP BTP and its services such as Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP)
Knowledge of integration technologies including OData, REST and SOAP
Familiarity with backend programming languages such as Java or ABAP
Background in SAP HANA and SQL is often required
Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills
Experience in agile development environments
Excellent English communication skills at B2 level or higher
