We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to manage layered enterprise applications on Windows Virtual Machines, oversee packaging and deployment with SCCM, automate operational tasks using PowerShell, and optionally support Azure DevOps-based CI/CD processes.
This role emphasizes stability, automation, patching, release coordination, and lifecycle management of enterprise applications hosted on Windows infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
* Write and maintain scripts using Windows Batch scripting PowerShell YAML
* Manage system configurations using SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager)
* Sufficient understanding of Windows Server 2022 and VMware environments Azure Cloud
* Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (ADO)
* Monitor system performance using New Relic and Sensu
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate manual processes and improve system reliability
* Document procedures best practices and solutions clearly and comprehensively
* Lead incident response efforts for critical issues
* Ensure security and quality compliance to meet organization standards
Requirements:
* 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role in a Windows environment
* Strong understanding of Windows Server 2022 administration and VMware management
* Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO) New Relic Sensu
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude towards resolving issues
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* A quick learner who can adapt to new technologies effectively
* Upper-intermediate proficiency in English (B2+)
