We are seeking a highly skilled 2nd line Maintenance Engineer with expertise in DevOps to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with CI/CD, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Terraform, and troubleshooting.

**Workflow:**

***Green Shift:***

Work with tickets from users. Most of these tickets are well-known cases when you need to perform some actions according to the template (disk space, plugins, etc.). Sometimes there are cases that require further study. It’s a good idea to document them (as InfluxDB). Sometimes you need to tell the user exactly where packets are blocked (network tickets).

***Red Shift:***

24/7 on-call – reaction to alerts. They happen about 1-2 times a week (after hours). Most of them close automatically. Some require routine actions. They need to be reported to the core team, who check what can be done and add a ticket to the backlog and sooner or later fix the problem. It is extremely rare to have real problems with the service (~once every six months). Here, you need to do research, if possible, apply a hot fix. If necessary, activate L3. Next, participate in the analysis of what happened together with the core team.

Apart from regular 8 working hours, the on-call engineer will need to be in touch during the time allocated for the shift (7-10 consecutive days per month). The shift scheduled is planned a month ahead. No monitoring is required, only alerts/very high ticket reactions.

*This position offers remote setup with the flexibility to work from any location in Georgia, whether it’s your home, well-equipped offices in Tbilisi and Batumi or a coworking space in Kutaisi.*

**Responsibilities**
* Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other relevant tools
* Resolve user tickets according to established templates for common issues (disk space, plugins, system configurations)
* Investigate and document complex technical cases that require further analysis
* Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and identify packet blocking locations
* Respond to system alerts during on-call shifts within defined SLA timeframes
* Apply hotfixes for critical service issues when possible
* Escalate complex problems to SREs when necessary
* Maintain and optimize Google Cloud Platform infrastructure
* Create technical documentation, when needed

**Requirements**
* Strong experience in DevOps, with a focus on CI/CD
* Proficiency with Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Terraform
* Good troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex technical issues
* Familiarity with Ansible and GitHub Actions is a plus
* Fluent in English with a B1+ level of proficiency
