Responsibilities:
You will ensure that features are designed, tested, and shipped in compliance with applicable US app-store policies and regional expectations (age / identity verification, geo-fencing, responsible-use copy, privacy / consent disclosures), translating these constraints into clear, technical requirements for analysts and engineers.
Track app-store policies (Apple / Google) relevant to restricted features and convert it into clear, testable acceptance criteria and requirements for Engineering team
Prepare and maintain submission checklists: test accounts, step-by-step flows, screenshots / videos, disclosure texts, age ratings, geo notes.
Coordinate App Store Connect / Google Play Console submissions, manage reviewer questions, collect supporting evidence with Product / Legal
Build a compliance test matrix: age / identity (KYC – Know Your Customer), geo allow / deny (including border / VPN / spoof), responsible-use copy, privacy / consent banners and settings
Run UAT – User Acceptance Testing for compliance scenarios; capture evidence (screens / logs / videos) with PII – Personally Identifiable Information redaction / masking
Provide and support Engineering team with policy-safe patterns and privacy
Operational follow-through – keep a visible RAID – Risks / Assumptions / Issues / Dependencies list, run brief readiness reviews before soft-launch / GA, monitor post-release notices and coordinate quick fixes if required
In short – you will help ensure that all requirements, laws, and restrictions are followed when operating our product in the United States, so that the product does not encounter any issues or violations. If any problems do arise, you should advise the team on how to correct them and on the necessary timelines.
Requirements (must-have):
3+ years in product / app compliance or app-store submission roles, with hands-on ownership of requirements and test evidence
Solid grasp of app-store policies for restricted features and the ability to express them as developer-friendly acceptance criteria
Tooling fluency: App Store Connect, Google Play Console, Confluence / Jira, Postman / Insomnia, basic log reading in AWS CloudWatch and client diagnostics in Sentry / Datadog; design / copy reviews in Figma; simple flows in Miro / PlantUML.
Evidence discipline: PII redaction, consistent naming and retention for screenshots / logs, reproducible steps, policy references in bug reports
English B2+: confident written specifications and regular technical calls with external providers.
Nice to have:
Experience coordinating contest / real-money-adjacent apps (age / geo gating, responsible-use copy, payout / withdrawal UX)
Exposure to Geo-location SDK and identity / age verification SDKs; understanding allow / deny logic and negative UX paths
Familiarity with mobile security hygiene (no secrets in builds, permission prompts, secure storage basics) and web security basics (CSP / SRI / XSS / CSRF)
Comfort with TMS – Test Management Systems and Charles / Fiddler for HTTP inspection
Awareness of GDPR / CCPA from a product-requirements perspective (consent, deletion / correction flows)
Russian B2+: for technical calls
Terms:
Format: B2B (contractor), fully remote from any location (work from anywhere). Upon mutual interest, later involvement in additional company projects is possible and, subject to requirements, a transition to an employment contract with a French company.
Workload: part-time; during the part-time period, combining with another job is acceptable (subject to SLA and confidentiality).
Compensation: EUR by contractor invoice, payment via SEPA / SWIFT or a licensed EMI (e.g., Wise). Ability to receive payments from France to a B2B (contractor) account is required.
