Role overview
Being a Junior Front-end JavaScript Developer, you will work on the project aimed at developing a trading platform for our client – a large trading firm with offices in 28 countries around the world.
We are creating a reactive fail-safe microservice system, based on messaging with the frontend in JavaScript.
Key objectives:
* develop new and support existing UI components;
* fix bugs in the code;
* study the principles of building a modern JS application;
* actively collaborate with other developers and the testing team.
Requirements:
* solid grasp of JavaScript fundamentals: understanding of core concepts like scope, closures, prototypal inheritance, DOM manipulation, and event handling;
* knowledge of a major JavaScript library/framework; direct, hands-on experience with ExtJS is a significant plus;
* web fundamentals: good understanding of HTML5 and CSS3;
* version control: familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows (e.g., Git Flow, pull requests);
* strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail;
* good verbal and written communication skills; ability to ask clear questions and articulate ideas;
* passion for continuous learning and professional growth.
