About The Role
We are looking for a Product Engineer to join our team and lead the intersection of regulatory strategy, product development, and engineering execution.
Reporting Line – Head of Post-Processing
Worksite: Remote
Responsibilities
Define regulatory & product strategy – determine priorities across regulatory reporting, risk engine, trading/middle office; ensure compliance standards; own product roadmap and release planning
Gather & translate business requirements – work with compliance team, operations, regulators to understand requirements; create technical specs and acceptance criteria; validate business logic for broker operations
Communicate & align stakeholders – be main contact point for external parties (operations, compliance, regulators); present requirements clearly to team; manage feedback loops and change requests Engineering skills: Design system architecture, integrate with external systems (exchanges, clearing houses, regulators), testing, build and deploy services with technical team support
Qualifications
2–3 years of experience in a brokerage, trading, or financial services environment
Strong understanding of broker operations, middle-office workflows, and regulatory reporting processes
Practical experience working with European transaction reporting frameworks and regulatory standards (including interaction with trade repositories or reporting platforms such as Unavista)
Solid analytical and technical background with hands-on experience in data manipulation and scripting (e.g., working with databases and automation tools)
Strong understanding of European regulatory reporting obligations, including EMIR and MiFIR frameworks
Experience translating regulatory requirements into technical specifications and system logic
Ability to validate financial data, ensure reporting accuracy, and reconcile trade information
Strong communication skills and ability to work with compliance, operations, and external stakeholders
