We are looking for a talented & experienced Software Engineer in Test Frameworks & Automation to build, maintain and evolve automated testing frameworks and tools to enable engineering teams to deliver reliable releases; integrate AI-assisted automation where useful.
**Responsibilities:**
* Design and implement robust test automation frameworks (from-scratch and extend existing) for backend and API services.
* Build reusable test libraries, reporting, CI/CD test pipelines, and test data management.
* Collaborate with dev and QA teams to translate product/feature requirements into automated test strategies and test plans.
* Mentor/testability guidance for engineers and support integration of tests into the development lifecycle.
* Evaluate and integrate AI tools/agents to accelerate test generation, test maintenance, and code assistance; deploy/operate AI agents where appropriate.
**Qualifications:**
* Strong Python for automation and framework development.
* Experience designing test frameworks (architecture, modularity, plugin systems, fixtures, runners).
* CI/CD test pipeline experience (GitLab CI) and test reporting (Allure).
* Hands-on experience using AI tools for development (code generation, test case generation) and familiarity with deploying or integrating simple AI agents or orchestration platforms.
* Good debugging skills, profiling test execution, root-cause analysis.
