**Job Description:**

Financial Chain Corporation is seeking a talented Data Engineer to join their technology team. The role involves building and maintaining robust, scalable, and efficient data pipelines and infrastructure. You will collaborate with analytics, BI, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure reliable, high-quality data for business decision-making.

**Responsibilities:**

* Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
* Build and optimize data storage solutions (data warehouses, data lakes).
* Ensure data availability, accuracy, and consistency for analytics and reporting.
* Monitor, debug, and improve data workflow and pipeline performance.
* Work with modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data engineering tools.
* Create and maintain technical documentation and data architecture diagrams.

**Required Qualifications:**

* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
* Strong experience with SQL and relational database systems.
* Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java for data processing and automation.
* Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Matillion, Apache Airflow, SSIS, AWS Glue).
* Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing principles, and performance optimization.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Experience with CI/CD workflows for data engineering.
* Familiarity with data governance practices and GDPR or similar regulations.
