**Job Description:**
Flat Rock Technology is seeking a UI Engineer C# to join their team. The role involves reviewing code, managing tasks, and developing prototypes. You will partner with designers to create excellent customer experiences, diagnose and fix software defects, and utilize various development tools and technologies including C#, .NET Core, Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/React, Angular, JavaScript, Github, Azure, SOAP/REST web service APIs, AWS services, Redis, NoSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server.
**Responsibilities:**
* Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and maintainable software development.
* Manage medium to large-sized tasks and features, delivering them on time and to specification.
* Conduct research or develop prototypes for new ideas, frameworks, or technologies.
* Collaborate with Product/User Experience designers to create exceptional customer experiences.
* Diagnose and fix software defects and bugs.
* Understand and utilize software development tools for C#, .NET Core, Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/React, Angular, JavaScript.
* Work with Github, Azure, SOAP/REST web service APIs, AWS services, Redis, NoSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server.
**Requirements:**
* 2+ years of experience developing user interfaces for commercial software in C-based language, Java/Python/C#.
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a closely related field.
* Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
* Solid understanding of popular web protocols (HTTP 1.1, HTTP/2, WSS, TLS).
* Data visualization experience using charting frameworks, data grids, and large data sets.
* Advanced CSS skills, including compiled CSS (SASS/SCSS) and responsive design.
* Experience developing web applications, working with databases, and consuming APIs.
* Strong understanding of browser fundamentals (HTML5, Javascript, CSS, AJAX).
* Experience with a JavaScript framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.
* Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
