**Network Engineer**
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, DC, VPN);
* Configure and support routers, switches and firewalls (primarily Cisco, Juniper, PaloAlto);
* Monitor network performance, identify issues, and troubleshoot connectivity and latency problems;
* Perform regular system maintenance, upgrades, and security patching;
* Participate in the planning and execution of network changes, migrations, and expansions;
* Maintain detailed network documentation including topology diagrams, configuration records, and asset inventory;
* Conduct network performance tuning and capacity planning;
* Ensure high availability and reliability of network services through redundancy and failover strategies;
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure projects and service delivery;
* Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for escalated network issues;
* Participate in on-call rotation and provide support during planned maintenance windows or critical outages.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures;
* Proven expertise with Cisco or Juniper networking technologies;
* Experience working with Next-Generation Firewalls from Cisco, Palo Alto, or Fortinet;
* Solid understanding of SDN (Software-Defined Networking) concepts;
* Deep knowledge of switching protocols: STP, RSTP, MSTP, VTP;
* Strong understanding of routing protocols: EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS;
* Proficiency in network security solutions: VPNs, Firewalls, IPS;
* Familiarity with network architecture design best practices;
* Experience with network automation tools such as Python and Ansible;
* Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or similar are a strong advantage;
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
* Fluent in Georgian, with strong command of English and Russian.
