**Job Description:**
Hapttic is seeking a skilled Back-End Software Engineer to join their team. This role offers full flexibility (remote, hybrid, or on-site at their Tbilisi office). The engineer will be responsible for building and scaling Hapttic’s AI-driven analytics platform, developing robust APIs, implementing LLM integrations, and designing efficient data pipelines. The work will directly impact how businesses process and analyze data, enabling them to uncover insights and make smarter decisions. Collaboration with product, front-end, and AI teams is expected to introduce new features, optimize system performance, and deliver a reliable, high-performance platform.
**Responsibilities:**
* Develop and maintain Node.js backend services and APIs.
* Design and implement MongoDB database schemas and queries.
* Integrate and optimize Large Language Model (LLM) APIs and workflows.
* Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
* Implement data processing pipelines and background jobs.
* Optimize application performance, database queries, and API response times.
* Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
**Qualifications:**
* Expertise in Node.js and Koa.js (or similar frameworks).
* Strong experience with MongoDB, including schema design, indexing, and aggregation pipelines.
* Proven experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar).
* Proficiency in building and documenting RESTful APIs.
* Comfortable with Git for version control and collaborative workflows.
* **Bonus:** Python experience for AI/ML workflows and data processing.
* **Bonus:** Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
* **Bonus:** Knowledge of Redis, message queues, or other caching/queuing systems.
