We are looking for “QA Engineers (Manual & Automation)” for our partner company – Bitanica
Bitanica is a cryptocurrency exchange licensed by the National Bank of Georgia. It offers users a secure electronic crypto wallet to manage their digital currencies and access unique wallet-related features not available on other Georgian platforms.
• Work format: Full-time, on-site
• Work schedule: Monday – Friday
• Working hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Salary: 3000 – 4500 GEL (Net)
Responsibilities:
• Perform and lead manual and automated testing of software applications;
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites;
• Validate business logic by checking data directly at the database level
• Analyze and validate financial transactions, balances, and trading records
• Define and own test strategies, test plans, and QA processes
• Review requirements and provide early QA input during planning and design
• Execute test cases and manage the defect lifecycle using bug-tracking tools
• Perform API, integration, regression, smoke, and sanity testing
• Mentor and guide junior and middle QA engineers
• Collaborate closely with Product, Development teams
• Work effectively in a fast-paced Agile environment
Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
• Strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing
• Strong hands-on experience in Test Automation
• Solid experience in Database Testing, including: Writing and executing SQL queries, Validating data accuracy and consistency, Verifying trade calculations, balances, and financial records at DB level.
• Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar)
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices
• Experience with API testing
• Familiarity with bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of QA responsibilities
Nice to Have:
• Experience testing financial, trading, or blockchain-based systems
• ISTQB Advanced Level certification
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests
• Experience in performance or security testing
