In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping and implementing high-quality gameplay features for an online multiplayer RPG. Your expertise will bridge the gap between design, engineering, and technical art, ensuring the seamless execution of the design vision. You will work with a talented team that values creativity and innovation, influencing the overall gameplay experience. **Accountabilities**
* Lead the creation of rapid prototypes for new gameplay systems and features.
* Collaborate with the design team to build complex gameplay systems and supporting tools.
* Work with engineering and technical art teams to ensure design vision is technically sound.
* Design, implement, and iterate on complex gameplay features using Unreal Engine Blueprints.
* Mentor other designers on technical design best practices and optimization.
* Perform peer reviews for Blueprints and technical design work to maintain high standards.
* Help define and document technical standards for design-created content.
**Requirements**
* 8+ years of professional game design experience focused on technical design.
* Experience with at least one successfully-published large-scale multiplayer online game.
* Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
* Expert-level proficiency with Unreal Engine, especially Blueprints.
* Strong understanding of all game development disciplines and the content pipeline.
* Excellent problem solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
* Effective communicator, capable of mentoring and explaining technical concepts.
