We are looking for a motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving our AWS infrastructure, managing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring high availability of our services. Key Responsibilities
Maintain and enhance our AWS infrastructure as code using AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit) with TypeScript, managing networking, compute, databases, and multi-region deployments.
Work with GitLab CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and reliable application deployments.
Monitor system health using CloudWatch, respond to alerts, and collaborate with development teams to resolve infrastructure-related issues.
Implement infrastructure security best practices and support database operations, including Aurora PostgreSQL, Redis/Valkey, and OpenSearch.
Drive continuous improvement of our infrastructure processes, provide feedback to development teams, and learn about emerging AWS services to support technology adoption.
Skills & Requirements
Basic understanding of AWS services, cloud infrastructure concepts, and networking fundamentals.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
A proactive attitude and desire to learn in a fast-paced cloud environment.
You’re passionate about automation, obsessed with finding and solving infrastructure problems, and focused on delivering reliable services to customers.
Nice to Have
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK) and containerization platforms (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes, GKE).
Familiarity with multiple cloud providers (AWS, GCP) and understanding of cloud migration strategies.
You’re aware of the current landscape of CI/CD and monitoring tools. You have well-formed views on their strengths and weaknesses.
You know how multi-region architectures and high availability patterns fit into the broader picture of cloud infrastructure.
