**Responsibilities:**

* Assess and improve information systems security compliance with company security policies and industry standards.
* Develop and maintain company-wide information security training materials and knowledge base.
* Represent Lineate in interactions with external information security counterparts, including customers and auditors.
* Review and oversee how sensitive information is shared across departments, systems, and with external partners.
* Ensure company and customer environments are securely configured and continuously monitored for vulnerabilities.
* Verify that all software and infrastructure components meet company security standards and are free from known vulnerabilities.
* Manage and ensure timely patching, system hardening, and security configuration baselines.
* Coordinate and review results of penetration and vulnerability tests, follow up on remediation activities.
* Maintain and continuously improve security documentation and policies (password management, endpoint protection, data handling, etc.).
* Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and Engineering teams to ensure secure software development and deployment practices.

**Technical Skills:**

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
* Solid understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux, and macOS) — ability to perform system-level security configuration and hardening.
* Strong knowledge of networking and security protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, proxies).
* Hands-on experience with security tools such as vulnerability scanners (e.g., Nessus, OpenVAS), SIEM, or EDR solutions.
* Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for automation, log analysis, and reporting.
* Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their security best practices.
* Understanding of DevSecOps principles, CI/CD security, and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
* Experience conducting or supporting security audits, risk assessments, and compliance checks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, etc.).
* Good written and verbal English skills (intermediate level or higher).
* 2–4 years of experience in IT or cybersecurity roles.
