This is an exciting opportunity to join the Environment, Safety, Health and Sustainability (ESHS) ESH Programs team at Lockheed Martin (LM) as a Senior Staff Environment Safety and Health Engineer. **What You’ll Be Doing**

* Analyze, develop and support the execution of various ESH programs for Lockheed Martin while interfacing directly with ESHS staff members, other corporate functional staff including Legal, Global Supply Chain, and Facilities, and Business Area ESH and Operations leadership and professionals.
* Lead the ESH Assessment (Self Assessments, Peer Assessments, Third-Party Assessments) and Risk Assessment programs.
* Evaluate differing content creation methodologies associated with applicability analyses and assessment protocols considering effectiveness, efficiency, customization and ability to be used with multiple applications/ modules.
* Lead the ESHS Structured Improvement Activity (SIA) program.
* Facilitate various ESH events including Peer Assessments and Structured Improvement Activities (SIAs).
* Support the ESH critical risk and SIF/ pSIF prevention program as subject matter expert partnering in development of program and effective integration with assessment program.
* Assist with the analysis and trending of ESH data utilizing traditional tools/ methods and advanced Lockheed Martin artificial intelligence (AI) tools and effectively communicate insights and findings to leadership, ESHS staff, BA ESH staff, customers and stakeholders.
* Leverage data-driven recommendations to inform leadership decisions on strategic initiatives and resource allocation to improve ESH performance
* Support 1LMX and OneLM culture initiatives
* Support business area ESH staff in requested programs and activities.
* Implement common programs and processes across ESH function to achieve affordability, efficiency and compliance objectives.

**Additional Responsibilities Will Be Assigned Based On Organization Needs.**

This position requires up to 30% travel.

THIS IS A VIRTUAL POSITION; HOWEVER, SELECTEDCANDIDATE MUST BE CO-LOCATED AT A MAJOR U.S. LM SITEWITH A PREFERENCE FOR SIGNIFICANT ESH PRESENCE ( e.g.,Fort Worth, TX, Orlando, FL, Valley Forge, PA, Mt. Laurel, NJ, Marietta, GA, Sunnyvale, CA, Waterton, CO, Bethesda, MD)
