**Role Overview – AI Engineering Trainee**
As an **AI Engineering Trainee**, you will learn how to turn business ideas into end‑to‑end AI workflows using **Langflow** (our visual builder on top of LangChain), **large-language-model (LLM) APIs**, and **vector databases**. Guided by senior engineers, you will design, prototype, and test modular flows that power both internal tools and client-facing features such as semantic search, conversational assistants, and document-understanding pipelines.

**Key Responsibilities**
* Design & build Langflow pipelines – drag-and-drop chain elements, set prompts, configure memory, version and document each flow
* Integrate LLMs – choose the right model (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source, etc.), tune parameters, evaluate performance, and implement safety/cost guardrails
* Work with vector databases – create embeddings, design schemas, optimize similarity search, and monitor performance
* Data preparation & evaluation – collect sample corpora, anonymize sensitive data, build test sets and evaluation scripts
* Team rituals & learning – attend sprint planning, code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and participate in technical discussions

**Minimum Qualifications**
* Foundational coding skills in **Python** (e.g. classes, virtual environments, Git workflow)
* Basic understanding of how **transformer-based language models** and **embeddings** work
* University degree (in progress or completed) in **Computer Science**, **Data Science**, **Computational Linguistics**, or a comparable field — or a demonstrably strong self-taught portfolio
* Strong **English communication skills** (written and verbal)
* Curiosity and structured problem-solving mindset

**Nice-to-Have Skills**
* Hands-on experience with **Langflow**, **LangChain**, **Haystack**, or similar frameworks
* Familiarity with **pgvector**, **Pinecone**, **Weaviate**, or **Milvus**
* Prompt engineering using **OpenAI**, **GPT‑4o**, **Mistral**, or **Llama 3**
* Front-end basics with **React**/**Next.js** for building simple UI stubs
* Knowledge of **Pydantic**, **FastAPI**, or **Flask** for wrapping flows as APIs
* Familiarity with **Docker** and **CI/CD pipelines**
