The company is looking for a professional with years of experience in the position of Mechanical Design Engineer, which combines the following disciplines – HVAC, Plumbing & Firefighting systems.
Qualification requirements:
· High education in relevant filed (MA to be an advantage);
· At least 6 years of work experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer;
· Good knowledge of regulations, standard and technological processes;
· Excellent knowledge of drafting programs (AutoCAD MEP & Revit to be an advantage);
· Fundamental knowledge of engineering calculations principles;
· Possession of specialized software for Engineering calculations;
· Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
Job Description
Design Mechanical Systems:
· Prepare Mechanical Systems design based on Applicable ASHRAE/SNIP, NFPA & relevant standard;
· Fulfill necessary calculations in applicable software;
· Prepare detailed design brief with explanation of design principles;
· Make necessary shop-drawings, incl. Layouts, Riser diagrams, Installation details & etc.
· Prepare schedules and relevant design documentations;
· Prepare job specific materials specifications;
· Coordinate design documentation with other disciplines;
· Suggest various design solutions if required.
Attending meetings in order to clearly understand job/owner requirements and expectations, Includes, project review, construction & project closeout meetings.
Project shop drawing and submittal review:
· Review of Mechanical Design Documentation;
· Provide recommendation about alternative technical solutions;
· Review and Approval of Material Specifications;
· Review and Approval of Equipment Specifications;
· Review and Approval of Shop Drawings prepared by Contractor;
· Review and Approval of Test Procedures;
· Review and Approval of Test Reports.
On-site selective inspections of Mechanical system installations.
